Hello

This hello page is inspired by Alastair Johnston and provides information about best ways to reach out.

Best ways to get in touch:

  • Email

Email is the best way to reach me. My email is alison@alisonbergblomjohnson.

  • Phone (651) 356-8230

If calling is the best way for you to reach me, please give me a call at 651-356-8230, where you can leave a message. You can also send text messages to this number. If you are booking a Springboard for the Arts consultation and would like help filling out the consult request form via phone, please leave a voicemail with me, and I'll forward it to Springboard and someone will reach out to you. You may also call Springboard directly. Their main phone number is 651-292-4381. For anything related to programs and events with Springboard for the Arts, please reach out to Andy Sturdevant if you prefer phone communication. His number is 651-294-0907. If you happen to have my cell phone number please know that most unexpected calls go to voicemail, which I typically check daily. If you're trying to reach me in real-time email or texting is faster. If you do text me please do not send gifs and animations (due to my migraine-related visual sensitivities). Also, if you have my cell phone number please don't share it.

  • Email Newsletter

Sign up via the link to get updates every few weeks.

  • Twitter

I love Twitter, and update occasionally. Email is always a better way to reach me than my DMs.

  • Facebook Page

My Facebook page has updates about things I'm working on and noticing. I am very limited in how I use Facebook Messenger. Please email me instead.

  • Instagram

I do put things on Instagram and do look at other's presences as I can. Because Instagram autoplays video (a migraine trigger) I don't spend more than a few minutes a few times a week. If there's something you'd like me to see, please email me (and do share any static images, please don't email gifs or video).

  • LinkedIn

I really like LinkedIn for public conversations in mine or others comment sections. It can also be a fascinating way to see the sweep of someone's career. I prefer not to use LinkedIn's messenger system. Please do email me.

  • In Person

I currently do not have open studio hours. Some Artist Career Consultations through Springboard for the Arts, particularly those with artists with disabilities who prefer to meet in person, can be scheduled in person. The location I hold these consults in does have a requirement that all visitors provide proof of COVID 19 vaccination.
